Occupational duties: Carry out under supervision, a variety of maintenance and repair work on site or in the workshop on a range of pneumatic and electronic instruments related to the operating systems for Main Gathering Center (MGC). Coordinates activities with operations, mechanical and electrical Supervisory personnel.

The plant operation includes Crude oil, Gas and Water separation, Effluent water injection and Disposal facilities. The plant comprises of Production separators, Test separators, Crude oil heaters, Crude oil desalters, Degassing towers, Oil storage tank age, Crude shipping skids, and Gas scrubbers, Knock out drums, Custody transfer shipping facilities, Crude oil manifolds, and Instrument air plants.

Work Experience: 11 + till date…

Technical skills and Responsibilities:

Handled the startup of Heaters and De-Salters.

Handled the startup of production separators two phase & three phase, and test separators in Sub- Centers.

Handled the tank safety devices like, safety relief valve, tank blanketing system & tank regulating system, emergency hatch, breather valve etc.

Handled the Tank gauging instruments.

Handled level control valves, pressure control valves, pneumatic and electronic measuring, indicating, recording, and controlling instruments.

Handled transmitters – ROSEMOUNT, YOKOGAWA, FOXBORO, ABB, SAAB RADAR, for all kinds of process variables like,

a)Flow,

b)Temperature,

c)Pressure, and

d)Level.

Handled the liquid Test Instruments like, Water cut Analyzers (Phase Dynamics), and Agar Probes (Agar Corporations).

Regular maintenance of the oil field like, 1) Sub Centers- Shipping Tanks, Production and Test separators, 2) MGC – Heaters and de-salters, 3) Pressure Maintenance Plant (PMP)- Injection Pumps and disposal Pumps, etc.

Control System Exposure:

Familiar with P&I diagrams, Instrument Loop Diagram,

Familiar with PLC and DCS like, Emerson Delta-V, Yokogawa, Allen Bradley, Foxboro I/A Series, FMC System for Flow Measuring Area.

Familiar with logics and programming based on function block etc.

Familiar with preparation of I/O lists and allocation of I/O points of PLC, DCS & ESD systems.

Familiar with checking the control system logics.

Familiar with Foundation Field Bus control system.

Familiar with making Task Instructions according to the Field, type of process, and the Instruments.

Measurement & Control Instrumentation:

Worked with all type of transmitters for measurements and Controlling of process variables like, Flow, Pressure, Temperature, & Level.

Conventional and SMART type of transmitters of Yokogawa, Foxboro, Rosemount and ABB

Special types of transmitters like, Radar type level transmitters, Micro motion mass flow transmitters, thermal conductivity mass flow transmitters, and Ultrasonic flow and level transmitters.

Familiar with workshop Calibration, field calibration and field checking of the Masoneilan, Fisher, Motoyama, Morin, (Diaphragm and Piston operated) control valves.
