$3M of the system.

• Worked with the designers and our piling subcontractor to optimize the pile installation method (H-pile) and then sourced a more efficient drilling rig, and with a more streamlined installation sequence, productivity increased from the expected 1 pile/day to 2 piles/day. Project: “Construction of Durres By-Pass”

• The project consisted of a Building of a new FLYOVER Interchange that interconnects Durres City, Port Authority, New Ring Road bypassing the city under a Design, Build, Operate, Maintain contract.

• Developed a Revised Design-Build that instead of building an Overpass Structure with 5 spans by 20 m long, the proposal we presented was 3 spans of 40m, 40m and 20 m, this facilitated easiness and fast circulation in the traffic flow... With my technical office we represented a completely set new Design Structure with a new girder lengths production. Overall savings were 2 months on the critical path and a revenue of $800K.

• We propose to implement a new RSS system for the Ramps of the Flyover, by decreasing the backfilling material, giving a saving to the Client of $300K, by adding an extra lane to the Project, using less Expansion Jnt, Bearings. Durres City is known for the tourism attraction and this Project was in the heart of the city and it is well known as a successful implementation.
