Qualifications:

I do not hold a degree in medical transcribing, but living in a small town I have had the opperunity to do some along my timeline. First I worked for a pain specialist in whom I did some of his transcribing. I also had the pleasure through temporary services to do Hospic Care. I have done a lot of legal transcribing also.

Education:

G.E.D in the 80's, Kentucky College of Business in 88-89 Graudated with an Associate's Degree in Secterial Science. Spent one year at Prestonsburg Community College. and 2 semesters at Pikeville College studing nursing. I had fundmentals in Nursing, Medical Terminology, and several other classes pertaining to medical studies.

Jobs:

Temporary Manpower Services for a year in which I got 3 months in transcribing for hospice care of Pikeville, among other transcribing jobs.

1993 Worked at the Pikeville Medical Center as a Ward Clerk where my job was keeping charts and tesst in order, and following Doctors orders and transcribing them for the charts and making sure that the nurses got the orders and everthing was charted with the time the patient care that was given.

2018 I'm now 60 years old and have worked at several jobs from home. I know do transcribing for Mechianal Turk on Amazon. This employer is transcribing from address, medical reports, dates of birth among other things. I'm just looking for something better paying at this time.
