Objective was to develop an interactive Android application from a scratch for the university newspaper ‘The Shorthorn’ following the agile methodology. As the designer of the application, Features like daily notification featuring morning briefing along with articles or blogs.

Sharing and following articles between registered users and also in different social media along with reporting of inappropriate content option was made available.

IBM Bluemix Web app for data storage, retrieval & cryptography 2 MONTHS

Developed a storage as a service utility to securely store the copy of the local file in IBM Bluemix by using hashing function of the MD5 algorithm. Retrieving the remote file by authenticating it, listing all files on the cloud service and deleting the remote file. The file to be uploaded was restricted with a specified size limit and an easy to use web based interface was created.

Application using Amazon Web services-EC2, S3 & BOTO AWS SDK for python 1 MONTH

Application using Amazon web services like EC2 & S3 was expected to be created. The project was able to achieve configuration of EC2 as the web server that host the python flask application to Store, list and delete images stored in S3. Authenticated IAM users with different access rights were allowed to use the service after proper authentication.

“BLACKJACK” web based application- JavaScript, HTML, CSS 2 MONTHS

Popular card game “Blackjack” was created from scratch by creating the functionality of the game using JavaScript applying logic to build a fun interactive application.

Player actions and decisions points were added along with creation of logic for the dealer by building a working web application.

Interactive “GUESS THE COLOR” game –JavaScript, HTML, CSS 2 MONTHS

A Fun interactive easy to play Color Game in which players are given an RGB value and based on the mode you choose will be displayed a number of squares. The player has to correctly choose which color of the square matches the given RGB value.

To make it more interactive and challenging, various level of difficulties was included by simultaneously choosing more number of colors within a specified time limit each level.

Analysis of Earthquake & Weather dataset-RDS, 6 EC2 nodes, MapReduce, Python 1 MONTH

A project on Hadoop map-reduce with custom sampler and partitioner to sort temperature of 1.5 GB dataset. As application developer,6 EC2 instances were configured & analysis was done for each attribute weightage of weather in sudden calamities.

‘Weather Forecast’ Application using AngularJS-HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS 2 MONTHS

Built a Single Page Application(SPA) in AngularJS, The goal was to adapt the working of AngularJS app with resources like Gulp, SASS etc.

‘GitHub Searcher’- React application 2 MONTHS

The application was able to make a request to the API of GitHub to get specific users profile from GitHub and display their profile on our web app after the users has authenticated using the Auth0 login system. Users could sign up and login using Google, Facebook or Twitter.

A database project on web platform for navigation through hospital admission information in which a functional web application was created to showcase some real scenarios. As a project programmer, SQL queries were developed to filter and summarize the huge data set given.
