Assist physicians in bedside sterile procedures including lumbar puncture, CVL placement, intubation, arterial line placement, and chest tube insertion.

Member of a team consisting of physicians, respiratory technicians, nurses and supervisors that respond to any Code Blue called in the hospital.

Available to nursing staff of UMC for difficult IV starts, blood draws, and especially for concerns on changes in patient status such as hypotension, decreased LOC, tachycardia or bradycardia, shortness of breath, or just when something seems wrong.
