Con Edison
Engineering Intern
• Worked with managerial staff to monitor annual budget and assisted in crew performance reports to improve KPI efficiency.
• Performed data analytics using VBA to save the company ~6 hours/week by cutting down on tedious clerical work. In addition, submitted permits to the DOT to ensure workers’ onsite safety. Air Liquide
Engineering Intern
• Increased chemical manufacturing and production revenue from $20,000 to $210,000 annually.
• Developed a method of analysis for a four-component acid etch solution commonly used in semiconductor manufacturing industries using a titration technique.
• Improved accuracy and efficiency, previous method only reliably measured one component and required four separate analysis methods. The developed method analyzes all four components individually and requires a single analysis method.
NYU Tandon: Chemical Engineering Department
Research Assistant
• Co-authored a journal publication in ACS Sensors, “Electrostatic Cycling of Hybridization Using Nonionic DNA Mimics” (2017)
• Aided in the development of a surface-based biosensor using electrochemical techniques which will ultimately be able to increase stringency accuracy for DNA hybridization technologies.
• Presented technical data to fellow engineers, effectively communicating highly specialized research to over 100 professors and peers who had little/no background information on the research. NYU Tandon: Biomolecular Science Department
Biology Lab Teaching Assistant
• Supervised a class of 20 undergraduate students, leading all laboratory experiments for a 12 week introductory biology course.
• Checked inventory, and verified instrument functionality by checking and calibrating specific lab instruments and properly disposed of hazardous chemical waste. As well as supervised students while they performed their own experiments.

THESIS WORK:
NYU Tandon School of Engineering: Chemical Engineering Department
• Researched the effect of methane solubility in water when introduced to beta-cyclodextrin and Pd-II-beta-cyclodextrin inside of a microreactor using in-situ Raman spectroscopy
• Analyzed the possible coordination mechanisms between the methane and cyclodextrin derivatives of interest ADDITONAL PROJECTS:
Senior Design Project
• Designed an efficient and profitable process plant for the production of 2 million tons of Nylon 66 per year using Aspen Plus Software
• Complied with OSHA, EPA, and SOP regulatiions for proper dispose of hazardous material and meet equirements for worker safety while attaining maximum production efficiency Unit Operations Laboratory
• Obtained hands-on experience with: membrane filtration, cake filtration, distillation units, fluidization beds, continuously stirred reactirs, and heat exchangers
• Determined characteristics of operation unit by changing physical parameters such as pressure, temperature and flowrate then made detailed reports of findings and results each week Chem-E Car Competition
• Constructed a car with unique battery system, stop reaction, and chassis created with a team of 10. The car entered into a national competition in spring of 2016.
• Designed specific cathodic aspect of the Zinc and Manganese Dioxide battery in the anode-cathode reaction. RELEVANT COURSEWORK:
