I have been a registered nurse for over 16 years with experience in Med/Surg, Day Surgery, PACU, GI/Endoscopy, Pain Clinic and ER. I also worked for 2 years as manager of and staff nurse in an independently owned urgent care facility. It was my responsibility to recruit and maintain accounts with business owners and equipment companies, providing me with knowledge and experience in management and occupational medicine; including DOT, UDS and BAT procedures, testing and equipment.

In my current position at the CTXVHA I cover multiple areas and perform conscious sedation for multiple procedures including TEE, Cardioversions and Bronchoscopies. Until recently our department also provided sedation for GI/Endoscopy procedures.

I am a recent family nurse practitioner graduate and have completed my AANP board certification. I look forward to building my experience and knowledge base as a primary care provider and team member in a busy clinical practice.

I am also a business owner of an independent lab collection site. As a current business owner and former manager, I understand the importance of frugality and financial responsibility, teamwork, and business building.
