Completed a laboratory intern training on learning how to find required recipes for cement slurries given well conditions and how to determine parameters for the analysis of the well.
Performed analysis required to ascertain various properties of cement slurries recipes needed in oil rig sites
Learned how to operate and read the results of the different machines used for testing cement slurries such as the high pressure high temperature cement consistometer, viscometer, and the pressure curing chamber.
Mixed up small amounts of slurry according to the suggested recipe and tested its change over time at a certain pressure and temperature.
Serviced the different plugs, valves, and pipes which were used during the oil rig operations.
Cleaned, lubricated and assembled the equipment after servicing.
