Hiring Manager

Dear Hiring Manager,

My name is Tanishia Thompson and I am very interested in the position as the Administrative Assistant. I believe I have the professional skills and relevant work history to successfully fill this position. I have spent 8 of 10 years' as an All Source Intelligence/Security Manager, and 2 years as a Security Specialist at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. One of my significant professional achievements occurred as a junior Solider, by overhauling my Battalion's Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF), having it ready for use in under a month. Over the years, I have always prided myself on learning all facets of my work. Using each year to make myself a more valuable Intelligence professional, receiving praise from supervisors and senior leaders in my career. As an Analyst, without following applicable DoD policies, my career would have been short. Due to the sensitive nature of government databases, daily, detailed record-keeping was an absolute requirement for me and a skill I have never failed. It would be gratifying to take part in assisting the staff at General Mills, Inc., concerning all issues and to continue a career in administration.

I hope to have given you some insight as to why my professional qualifications will positively contribute to the Ohio School Boards Association. I hope to further discuss my professional accomplishments in a future interview. Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,

Tanishia A. Thompson
