JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Production of Flexible, rigid and elastic grades of polyether polyols and polymeric polyols.

Ensure maximum output levels and the efficient running of the production facility.

Coordinating for raw material planning, manpower planning and handling of shift activities.

Maintaining the Quality and Environment regards.

Preparation of production schedule and review of production report.

Coordinating with maintenance engineer to carry out maintenance activities without affecting the production.

Maintaining high standard of housekeeping at plant.

Perform predictive and root cause analysis of problems and then initiate corrective actions.

CHIEF ACCOMPLISHMENT:

Commissioning of polymeric polyol plant.

Carrying out of several types of hazardous and exothermic reactions.

Operation of multiple effect evaporator, batch and continuous Distillation Column, Steam jet ejectors, vacuum pumps, candle filter and leaf filter.

Operation of compressors, centrifugal, gear and screw pumps.

Well conversant with unit operations such as Evaporators, distillation, etc.,

Well conversant with the chemistry behind formation of poly urethane foams from various grades of polyether polyol and isocyanate groups.

Storage and Safe handling of hydrocarbon such as Propylene and Epoxides such as Propylene Oxide and Ethylene Oxide.

Storage and Safe handling of hazardous chemicals such chlorine, styrene, isocyanides, acrylonitrile, Iso propyl alcohol and toluene etc.,

UTILITIES HANDLED:

Steam upto 15 ksc, cooling tower water, chilled water, chilled brine, compressed air, gaseous and liquid nitrogen.
