5. PROFESSIONAL SKILLS

EXPERIENCE IN THE FIELD OF AUDIOLOGY:

Detailed Case history of various Auditory and Vestibular Disorders for Pediatric and Adult population.

Assessment of hearing through various tests (Otoscopy, Pure Tone/ Speech Audiometry, Immitance, OAE and BERA).

Pediatric testing like Behavioural Observation Audiometry, Visual Reinforcement Audiometry and Play Audiometry.

Newborn hearing screening (BOA, Immitance, ABR & OAE).

Administering the high-risk register for neonates and hearing screening through different screening tools.

Specialized tests in Immitance like Multifrequency and Multicomponent Tympanometry and Eustachian Tube Malfunction Tests.

Auditory Brainstem Responses, to estimate the threshold as well as Neuro-diagnostic Analysis of the wave form of Evoked potentials & differentially diagnosing the clients.

Assessment of various Special tests like CAPD Testing, SISI, ABLB, TDT, STAT, Strenger test.

Ear mould making and ear mould modifications to make appropriate acoustic changes for clients.

Issue of suitable Hearing Aids to all age groups and counseling for Hearing Aid users.

Knowledge in usage of various checklists of speech and language such as CARS, ABCCP, MDPS, ADHD-T etc.

Proficiency in the usage of perceptual checklist like GRBAS scale, Buffalo Voice Profile, Intelligibility rating scales.

Knowledge in usage of various instruments like Dr. Speech, Vaghmi, MDVP, EGG, PRAAT software.

Assessment and Management of different Speech and language disorders (Delayed speech & language, Specific language impairment, Articulation disorder, Phonological disorder, Fluency Disorders, Voice disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Hearing Impairment, ADHD, Cerebral palsy, Mental Retardation, & Learning Disability, Aphasia, Apraxia, Dysarthria & Laryngectomy).
