Title : Formulation and Standardisation of Geriatric Drugs Related to Immunomodulator

Description : Immunomodulators are the substances that regulate or modify the function of the immune system. Cytokines are natural immunomodulators and are produced by lymphoreticular cells. They have multiple interactive roles in the immune pathways. To standardize raw materials such as Phyllanthus Emblica, Asparagus Racemosus, Curculigo Orchioides, Tinospora Glabra, Ipomoea Digitata, Withania Somnifera, Piper Nigrum, Mucuna Pruriens, Piper Longum, Zingiber Officinalis with certain parameters to identify the presence of active phytoconstituents and their values. The aim was to isolate the mixture of compounds individually from steroidal lactone and steroidal saponins enriched fraction that have been used in herbal medicine, followed by in-vitro and in-vivo investigations.
