Initially played key role in the migration of Impact in-house accounting system to support Front-end MMI trading system. Assisted in the testing and implementation in terms of insuring Trader input to MMI flowed STP to Impact through Middle Office and subsequently to downstream Clearance depository.

Owned General Ledger reconciliation for U.S. Rates business; that is, performed daily and month-end recon of all Impact activity vs general ledger balances.

Created procedures relative to understanding the Impact system, specifically outlining various programs and the associated “event” codes. Wrote as well the procedures for GL vs Impact reconciliation, and the effect of each Impact report on the GL balances.

Worked closely with Middle Office, Finance area, and Clearance departments to insure daily integrity between front and back-office systems, as pertains to issues including Fails, Open Items, Financing transactions, Security set-up, etc.

Assisted in the migration of JPM’s in-house CORE accounting system to the ICI Impact application in 2003, which included testing and the implementation.

Develop and produce monthly MIS trade volume reports to risk management team.

Confirm trade information daily with brokers and work with NSCC/GSCC comparison team.

Review daily Fail report and interface with Trading Floor and Clearance areas to address and resolve.

Initiate weekly Aged fail report to Management.

Put together procedure for back-to-back trade processing through London Concorde w/JPM London and European Clients. Reconcile as well any discrepancies appearing on daily London check out.

Support Stock Loan business by monitoring Borrow/Loan activity through LOANET.

Worked closely with Asset management team, DTC, Trustee, and clearing Bank in preparation for newly created CMO issues. Monitored inventory related to collateral backing up the new issue CMO. Performed key role in New Issue “Closing” in terms of R&D, SEG account requirements, and confirmation of deposit of new issue securities at DTC.
