Responsibilities: Working as Progress OpenEdge developer with performance team (PREF) in JPMC. Mainly the responsibility of PERF team is to keep the system ready for future loans load based on the set SLAs timing by business team. Basically we examine the application design and coding, memory, disks, CPU, and network management. Maximum performance is accomplished through better resource allocation, better programming, and better database design.
Troubleshot and maintained an OpenEdge MPX loan application.
Triaging defect reported in the system by other internal/Business teams related to programming/functionally.
Discussion with IT Business Analyst to understand the business requirements.
Collecting Profiler Report data for the program not performing as per SLA timing.
Code Analysis based on the profiler data to find out the causes creating the performance issues.
Modification in the program if noticed some programming issue, like indexing, transaction scope etc.

Description: Under this project we have upgraded old MFGPRO system (eB) to new MFPGOR version (eB2.1). Eaton is migrated all hydraulics plant to eB2.1 QAD MFGPRO system and upgrading the lower version to eB2.1 system to make the consistency for the programs and process followed for Eaton Business. The main challenge under this project was to their new customer according to Eaton Hydraulics process.
Responsibilities: Worked as ERP consultant with Eaton MCOE team in Cleveland, OHIO to upgrade Brooklyn Plant ERP System from eB to eB2.1 version.
Analysis of existing MFGPRO system for customization programs.
