I am a certified surgical technologist. I am able to scrub well in most specialties. I was the Orthopaedic resource tech for Greenwich hospital. I have been involved in an Operating room/central prossessing project on how to make the departments work together better as a team, and to have everything available for all cases. I am a very skilled certified surgical technologist of seventeen years. I am driven and hardworking,and a fast learner. I am outgoing, non confrontational .Orthopedics is my passion, but I love being a surgical technologist and I am well rounded in most specialities. I am currently taking the CNA course and will be done in May. Working with people and in the healthcare industry has always been a passion of mine. I work very well with colleagues, as well as with patients. I am always willing to try and learn new things.

I worked on the hospital wing of the prison. I performed EKGs, and helped with charting on intake of new inmates. I also worked with the psychiatrists, OB/GYNs, orthopedists, and general practitioners as a female witness. I really enjoyed this job and working with people. From here I decided to go to school full time to attend the surgical technologist program.
