Purchasing Manager

Responsible for all aspects of companywide purchase to pay and supply chain management including vendor contracts and transportation.

Acted as a vendor liaison between the manufacturers, distributers, and the company.

Consistently made an annual excess of 1m in material related profit on installation projects.

Monitored all purchases to ensure “Just-in-time” deliveries to drive inventory turn up and warehouse costs down.

Implemented the company’s first integrated purchasing system which allowed for “real time” reporting and job costs analysis as well as electronic purchase order creation.

Worked closely with upper management, operations, and project managers to better serve material requirements.

Oversaw receiving and shipping to ensure materials were being received and shipped on a timely basis for both US and international requirements.
