To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing to express a strong interest in joining your team as a Psychiatric Physician Assistant in the Fort Wayne area. I recently graduated this past December; I am an Ohio-licensed and NCCPA-certified physician assistant, hoping to begin full-time work by June. I have had a passion for mental health for many years now and feel that serving as a psychiatric PA is the perfect way to combine my interests, talents, and education, all while making a positive difference for others. I am dedicated to providing medical, behavioral, and emotional care to patients of all ages with all types and severities of mental illness; although, I do have particular interests in anxiety, mood, personality, and schizophrenia spectrum and other psychotic disorders, as well as the adolescent age-group. I believe that my down-to-earth, compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgemental demeanor puts patients at ease, allowing for the establishment of patient-provider trust and, thus, patient progress. Further, I consider myself an enthusiastic, analytical, reliable, efficient and thorough professional who is sure to be a valued asset to your team. Attached you will find my curriculum vitae. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration, and I look forward to hearing from you soon to further discuss my credentials and the position. Sincerely,

Laurie Veltri, PA-C
