I am a dedicated and well-rounded Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. I can treat an average of 15 to 35 patients in a 12-hour shift, and treating such maladies as colds, flus, sore throats, and rashes, as well as providing immunizations and offering basic health promotion activities. I have been in the health care field for 23 years. I started off as a CNA, received my LPN and then RN. I am able to understand various roles and responsibilities in the health care. As a Captain in the reserves I am OIC(officer in charge) for education insuring that over 50 enlisted and 15 nurses are ready for
deployment in my MDS(Medical Dental squadron) unit. I have graduated with honors from Officer training school and recently
became officer of the quarter twice in the last two years, and nominated as Officer of the year. I built an education room with over $500,000 worth of equipment with no cost to my unit.
