Alzheimer’s Diagnosis using Eye Tracking

Project Lead, SCET June 2015 - November 2015

●Collaborated with a team of 4 student biomedical engineers to design a kit for Alzheimer diagnosis using eye tracking.

●Built a low cost eye tracking module and a puzzle creation system using MATLAB as well as used MATLAB software to model the diagnosis system.

●Tested and calibrated the device on 13 Alzheimer participants at the Alzheimer’s Related Disorders Society of India facility.

Android based communication system for blind deaf and mute

Project Lead, SCET January 2015 – April 2015

●Facilitated meetings, delegated tasks, and ensured completion of the team’s mission to design a device that converts speech to Braille and Braille back to speech using android platform and PIC micro controller. Developed the prototype using micro servo motors, PCB, push switches and acrylic sheet.

●Collaborated to design the control circuitry and program the microcontroller and develop the android application to drive the servo motors that produces the Braille alphabet on the Braille cell.

●Designed a Braille keyboard using switches soldered on a PCB.

●Finalist for 2 national level project competitions MATE 2015(Marian Awards for Technical Excellence) and PPTIA 2015 (Pradeep P Thevanoor Innovation Awards). Won 3rd prize in national level paper presentation for the paper.
