Duties:
Collect and process the required RF field data in order to help bring new sites on-air. Collect and process system baseline data in order to help troubleshoot drop-call and block-call problem areas.
Perform in-building coverage service analysis. Help to determine appropriate in-building coverage solutions.
Work with the RF Engineer to perform real-time troubleshooting test to help resolve drop-call and block-call problem areas.
Collect CW measurements in support of new site candidate evaluation. Set up and operate a CW transmitter and receiver including configuring antennas, cables and connectors as well as drive a specified data collection route. Verify all site contacts and plans are in place for site testing. Post process and analyze CW measurement date
Calibrate and evaluate performance of test equipment of CW transmitters, receivers, and CDMA optimization equipment
Perform site audits: accurately determine antenna azimuths, downtilts, antenna types, etc.
