Duties/Role

Leading on test activities, responsible in decision making and documentation for a High-Level test strategies and test plan.

Performing different types of testing (from Front-end to Back-end and database) to assure that website's processes are working well. Testing includes User Acceptance, Functional, Sanity, Regression, Smoke, Retesting, Ad-hoc, Exploratory, Stress testing, Security Testing and etc. By means of manual and automation testing.

Creating Test scenarios and translate it into test cases using TestRail, which is based on Acceptance Criteria, Requirements documentation, Business processes and module update.

Converting and create the test cases into automated test script using Selenium. Also, responsible for reviewing and assuring that the test script created by other QAs are running without errors and follow testing protocols.

Takes part in Backlog Grooming, where each stories are estimated based on its complexity and how does the update will affect the modules, APIs, website transactions and relation with the business rules and processes.

Work directly to Developers, and Product Owner. This is to ensure meeting of the detailed Acceptance Criteria and to enhance more the existing user stories.

Coordinate with the Developers, Product Owner, Dev Manager and QA Manager about the testing progress, impediments and bugs reported. Explaining how the bugs will affect the website and the business process and rules.

Responsible in isolation, investigation, bug tracking in JIRA and bug reporting of all issues found and occur during testing.

Performing Demos together with the Developers to Product Owners and other to other department to have an Approval for all stories that was done in Sprints.

Creating and sending of Sign off report.

Responsible in investigation and replicate of issues that reported by the customers and perform a root cause analysis. Create a ticket with the details of the issue and report it to the Product Owner and Dev Manager to make sure it will be lined-up for fixing.

Working with the other departments such as Back-Office Development team, Business Analyst, System Administrator and etc.

Responsible for training of new QAs and evaluating their performance. As well as the reporting to the QA manager on the progress of the new trainees.

Reviewing of the test cases created by other QAs and discussed their revisions, as well as adding of new test cases. Make sure that the test cases are critically reviewed.

Analyzing the system flows (Ordering, Customers, Shipping, Payment and other modules of all sites) to assure every update will meets the Business rules of the company.
