Kronos ERP simplification: Conducted deep-dive of existing Kronos WorkForce ERP systems which were numerous & plagued with multiple issues. Created clear documentation of issues, defined success factors. Devised and executed a plan to consolidate all instances into one centralized ERP system.
Results: Transformed the ERP into a simple, high performance service with scalability, redundancy at all levels and saved ~$800,000/yr on just compute costs.
IT Risk & Controls – ISO 27002 adoption: Led the adoption of ISO 27002 controls across my org under the direction of General Electric’s IT Risk department. Defined strategy and solution templates for 225 apps to become compliant in each of the risk categories.
Results: Achieved 97% compliance across the org in a period of 6 months, on target and under budget.
IIoT (Predix) Program Development: Designed training curriculum and delivered training to my organization to initiate adoption of General Electric’s Industrial Internet of Things platform called Predix. Held deep dives into CloudFoundry and developing apps and MicroServices in the cloud.
Results: Over 200 employees were trained, 6 prototype projects initiated, awareness of the Predix platform established across the org.
ERP Redesign: Led strategy, design and execution of database & server redesign for General Electric’s Peoplesoft Pay and Benefits ERP.
Results: Reduced server footprint from 30 linux servers to 23 while increasing capacity, redundancy & resiliency. Reduced total server spend by $120,000/yr.
Talent Transformation: Implemented General Electric – IT departments initiative to insource talent in a period of 6 months.
Results: Transformed team from 7 employees & 45 consultants to 17 employees & 24 consultants, resulting in $240,000/yr savings and stronger talent pipeline.
No-SQL based document store: Proposed and implemented a secure PII sensitive document retrieval system with a Solr (No-SQL DB) based indexing service.
Results: Extremely user-friendly and responsive service that allows users to search documents based on 20 different attributes and get results instantaneously.
PeopleSoft ERP upgrade: As part of PMO and technology leader, led $17MM upgrade of General Electric’s PeopleSoft Pay & Benefits ERP.
Results: Delivered the project ahead of schedule, $2MM under budget and with minimal interruption to critical services.
