Engineer - Mechanical

Responsible for all activities between the Client, Consultant and Contractor project office.

Independently set up an office in Ranchi (consultant location), for the purpose of project coordination.

Completely took charge of drawings/documents handling going in and out of client/consultant office for review and approvals, to save the maximum time in the movement of documents.

Key Deliverables

As a project coordinator my responsibilities includes;

Submissions and approvals of drawings/documents at consultant office for approvals.

Facilitate resolving of deadlocks occurring in the approval of drawings and documents through efficient coordination between the design team and the consultant.

Arranging for project review meetings with the client/consultant and our project/design teams.

Approval of GA/Detail drawings for all Mechanical equipments and fast tracking necessary revisions.

Vendor coordination;

Stage wise follow up with vendors and providing necessary technical assistance.

Ensuring efficient documentation of internal reports, MTC’s and other necessary documents as per the ITP by the vendor.

Providing dispatch clearances and coordinating unloading of materials at site yards.

Experienced in coordinating fabrication vendors for all structural & technological items at different level.

Releasing of Material Receipt Note to the vendors at the time of delivery of materials.

As a Mechanical Engineer my foremost job is to ensure quality and timely delivery of materials and equipments to site.

Following up with the vendors to ensure production progress as per the project flow.

Final & in stage inspection of tech. structures and equipments.

In line with the QAP, raising inspection calls for various equipments and arranging client/consultant inspection.

Reviewing internal inspection reports, MTC’s and TC’s in line with the approved drawings, data sheets and prescribed standards.

Fast tracking of required and necessary compliances against comments rose during inspection and review of documents.

Arranging Inspection/waiver certificates and the final dispatch certificates from client.

Ensuring timely dispatch of materials from vendor’s premises to site yards.

For effective delivery of my duties, I ensure good understanding of project contract, General Technical Specifications for all mechanical equipments and Approved QAP.
