PREVIOUSLY HELD POSITIONS:

Horizon Solar Power, Driver

Drove a fifteen passenger van throughout southern California transporting Field Marketers to residential neighborhoods to obtain appointments for our Sales Team to complete a sale.

A&R Telecom, Driver

Drove a twenty-eight foot box truck throughout Southern California delivering batteries for AT&T cellular sites. Also worked in the warehouse building battery frames and charging batteries for customers.

Beckerle Consultants, Market Manager

Upgrade emergency generator connections at AT&T cell sites. Developed schedules, supervised and trained crews. Complete audits and field surveys for future installations. Identify required equipment, ordering and distribution of material and tools to crew members. Perform quality inspections on completed sites. Ensure ATT safety measures are adhered to. I also have eight months experience driving a 28 foot box truck.

Gulbranson Services Inc., Director

Responsible for the installation of Aerial and Underground Fiber Optic Cable to residential and small business customers for the Verizon FIOS program adhering to all required standards, including General Order 95. Directed 8 supervisors responsible for 80 employees covering all of Southern California meeting critical deadlines completing all work on, or prior to, project deadlines ensuring quality objectives were achieved and confirmed. Plan and estimate new routes ordering equipment and material needed to complete the jobs.

Volt Telecom, Project Manager

Managed 40 to 100 employees. Managed large scale projects in excess of $30M including fiber optic installations(aerial and underground), business telephone service, residential installations and upgrades; upgrade and replace outside cross connect terminals, face to face customer complaint resolution, Implemented, and enforced adherence to, safety procedures and company regulations performing disciplinary actions as required.

Project Manager (multiple companies)

Gulbranson Excavating, HCI, Genesis P.I., Channel Communications, Verizon, GTE

Successfully completed a variety of telecommunication projects. Was responsible for the training, safety and implementation of new policies and procedures. Interfaced with customers. Established a low voltage department at Genesis P.I.; Trained telecommunication employees on the various products produced by Channel Communications; managed five different contract companies to install fiber cable for Verizon FIOS. Managed the installation of wireless cell sites in Tijuana Mexico directing a work force of 16 employees ensuring their safety and providing security during the installation period.

Other Experience:

Property Management - 8 years experience as I owned my own Apartments and made all repairs.

Retail - Sav-On Drugs with 10 years experience in the Long Beach store where I was responsible for 15 employees.

I spent 9 months in Caracus Venezuela managing and directing 3 different contractor companies installing telecommunications equipment.

Summary:

I’ve successfully managed large scale projects with multi-million dollar budgets and large crews achieving project due dates and company objectives. I’m proficient in addressing customers, employees, my peers and upper management thriving in challenging high pressure environments. I have extensive hands on experience while maintaining flexibility to meet new challenges drawing on past experience as well as learning from new ones. I’ve attended many human resource training classes, interviewing, employing, promoting, and when necessary disciplining employees. I’ve worked in union and non-union environments understanding the issues each present. I am a US Armed Forces Veteran having serving five years in the United States Navy receiving an Honorable Discharge.
