My responsibilities included leading pipeline engineers and monitor their performances, prepare CTR, weekly reports, pipeline basis of design, pipeline wall thickness calculations, pipeline crossing design, pipe-soil resistance calculations, on-bottom stability analysis, pipeline maximum allowable span analysis, on-bottom roughness analysis, pipelay analysis, checking pipeline detailed drawings, pipeline alignment sheets, isometrics and subsea tie-in details, data sheets, MTO’s and purchase requisitions. Reviewed and commented engineers reports.

AMNI – Tubu Field Development project and Langley Upgrade project. The offshore project consists of a 16" oil production pipeline, a 4" gas lift pipeline and umbilicals between two platforms in shallow waters of Nigeria less than 100m deep.

BP – OPLE Contingency Debottlenecking Onshore Project in Trinidad and Tobago. Evaluated a new pipeline to be used for debottlenecking an onshore liquid transfer pipeline.

BP - OPLE Offshore Project in Trinidad and Tobago. This project included 3 platforms in shallow waters of Trinidad and 93km of trunkline from platforms to the Trinidad shore.

BP - ECRT Trinidad and Tobago. This project included design of water outfall pipeline system using 10 inch carbon steel pipeline and 10 inch HDPE pipeline using float and sink method for installation and design of offshore oil export loading system (using 30 inch carbon steel pipeline, PLEM, two flexible risers, SBM buoy and flexible hose connecting SBM to the tanker).

BP – GRP and TPW Projects in Trinidad and Tobago. Design of the water outfall pipeline system (Onshore and offshore) using High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) pipeline to transport treated water to a subsea diffuser for dispersion (slip-lining and float and sink methods to be used for installation).

My responsibilities included preparing pipeline discipline schedule, CTR, flowlines and risers design basis, wall thickness calculations, leak test pressure calculations, route evaluation report, on-bottom stability report, cathodic protection design report, design of the shallow water future tie-in system using piggable wyes, preliminary Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) design report, HDD critical knowledge area evaluation report, water outfall pipeline summary report. Performed HDPE pipeline calculations and analyses. Design of water outfall pipeline system using 10 inch carbon steel pipeline and 10 inch HDPE pipeline using float and sink method for installation. Design of offshore oil export loading system using 30 inch carbon steel pipeline, PLEM, two flexible risers, SBM buoy and flexible hose connecting SBM to the tanker. Prepared construction sequence, specifications, scope of works, data sheets, purchase requisitions, obtaining subsea components prices from vendors, meeting with pipeline installation companies, pipeline installation scope of work, prepared MTOs, and pipeline discipline weekly reports.
