The PLM Analyst position is part of the IT organization and is responsible for initiating a broad range of activities surrounding Bill of Material creation and management throughout the product lifecycle. The role will include Part and BOM creation, change management, and communication of relevant supporting data such as intended effectivity dates and material disposition. Also serve to promote best practices and internal business processes with relation to change management and general PLM functions.

Working with with Engineering, Supply Chain, Program Management, and other supporting functions in order to accurately structure new products and document product changes as part of the product development, continuous improvement, and sustaining engineering processes. Create and release part numbers in the PLM system, including collection, entry, and/or review of associated data and documentation from Engineering. Create and release Bill of Material structures based on input from Engineering and Manufacturing to represent appropriate multilevel structuring and groupings. Initiate and manage ECOs to document and communicate changes to previously released parts and BoMs. Advise on best practices for documenting changes on new and existing products. Insure data integrity between systems (PLM, ERP, MES, etc…) throughout the change cycle. Analyze, process and track ECO submissions to minimize processing time between submission and implementation. Participate in the development and continuous improvement of ECO and other related practices. Assist in the communication of Engineering BoM requirements between Supply Chain and Production to facilitate material planning, order fulfillment and execution.

Working as a senior development and analyst lead with the client’s application team, to help with installation and changes made to the Enovia software application. This includes modifying Java programs and JSP pages. Also worked as a senior analyst that help client’s business team with the understanding of what the application can do and to write functional and tech specs to make modification to application to meet the business needs. I was the technical lead during the upgrade from Enovia V6 13x to Enovia V6 14x. During this time I leading a team of developers; review the developer’s code to make sure that everything was correct. In charge of the end product to make sure that all of the old application items were programmed into the new application and not lost in transition.

Halliburton – Lead a team of development personnel (4) for the Halliburton project. In leading this team, I did some development, code review and unit testing of the offshore team’s code. I also worked and met with the offshore team daily to help them understand the functional specifications and any issues that we had during the UAT testing with client.

P&G -performed with the business team to write function specifications to show the client new functionality in their current application.

Bell – as a member on the business team, I worked as developer to help to solve issues in production support. Then I worked on the implementation and testing of those solutions.

B&W - Working as a senior development lead with the B&W application team, to help with installation and changes made to the MatrixOne software application. This includes modifying Java programs and JSP pages. Senior analyst that help B&W business team with the understanding of what the application can do and to write functional and tech specs to make modification to application to meet the business needs. JCI (Johnson Controls) - Working as a senior lead JCI application team, installing and made changes to MatrixOne software application Engineering Central to fit their business needs. This includes modifying java programs and JSP pages.

Covisint/GM: As part of an application team and team lead, I installed and made changes to MatrixOne software application Supplier Central application to fit with both company’s needs. This includes modifying java programs and JSP pages. Also worked closely with EDS to move data back and forth between companies (Covisint and GM). The technology that was used to do this was XML.

NASA (Glen Research Center) - Worked with the customer to figure out their business process and database schema for development in eMatrix. Created the schema and worked closely with their programmers on programming the JSP Pages, Java programs, and MatrixOne triggers which fit their business needs.

Goodyear - As part of the application team, helped the customer quickly develop JSP pages for the Matrix schema that they had in production. This includes working with test scripts and supporting the current application in production.

Nokia - As part of the application team, worked on creating wizards (mql, tcl) that would run in core matrix and on the web.
