Description:
The purpose of the project is for the speech therapist to be able to offer the sensory integration techniques and speech therapy in the same room, even if the room has a small amount of space. This will be accomplished by designing a chair similar to the one where the child is seated for the speech therapy that can provide a swinging, bouncing, and rotating motion. It is IMPORTANT TO NOTE that a speech therapy chair that can produce the required motions IS NOT AVAILABLE IN THE CURRENT MARKET.
