Project management and field commissioning and start up of Continuous Enzyme Starch Conversion cooking system in Mogi Gaucu, Brazil– Resulted in 60 million lbs of annual starch business across multiple paper mills.
Generation of 15 million annual lbs of new starch business through wet end spray application technology. Generated and executed trial design of experiment and also lead technical and sales teams, as well as contributing to the design and implementation of the production system. This application eliminated 20 tons of scrap per month for the paper mill.
Development and trouble shooting of reactive extrusion process for the creation of starch based bio- polymers, including scale up from lab to production runs and final material characterization.
Development and application work from lab to scale up for dust suppression project in mining and mining transport fields.
