ACADEMIC PROJECTS

Ad-hoc Networking using Wi-Fi, ZigBee during Natural Disasters.

Worked on Arduino Uno microcontroller board based on the ATmega328P which was programmed using IDE software to switch between Wi-Fi and ZigBee technology depending on the battery status of the mobile phone.

Gained hands on experience in testing hardware prototypes like ESP8266 Wi-Fi module, X-bee Module and successfully programmed these modules to transmit messages between the various nodes in the ad hoc network during natural disasters

Integrated the various prototypes into a single node, created three nodes and successfully demonstrated the transmission of GPS co-ordinates to the mobile phone and displayed it on the LCD.

Configuration of routers and layer 2&3 switch using various protocols

Configured routers using distance vector and link state protocols(RIP,OSPF,EIGRP)

Remotely accessed other systems using TELNET, SSH and CDP.

Identified the appropriate IPv6 addressing scheme to satisfy addressing requirements in a LAN/WAN environment and troubleshoot client connectivity issues involving DNS.

Controlled the traffic that passes through router by Numbered, Named, sequence Access control lists.

Implemented Layer 2 switch (DHCP snooping and Dynamic ARP) with different VLANs connected and Layer 3 port security is provided.

Verified VTP status and changed the priorities of the switches using STP as per the requirements.

Configured two Layer-3 Cisco switches using HSRP and created VLANs with different peripheral devices and assigned MAC addresses for PCs. NS-3 Implementation: LTE Downlink Schedulers and Implementation of Data Center TCP

An overview of OFDMA was presented. Built an LTE model in order to test the LTE downlink schedulers.

The simulation results were analyzed. Compared and discussed the performance of various schedulers and our results in comparison with the theoretical performance of the schedulers.

Created documentation and report summarizing the LTE Scheduling process, including schedulers using LaTeX Software.

Implemented the datacentre topology using NS3 simulator which shows how TCP reacts to congestion.

Successfully demonstrated that DCTCP provides high throughput, low latency and queue management over TCP. IOT Based Provided Temperature the comparison monitoring between system the TCP and DCTCP protocol graphically and documented the advantages and comparison using LaTeX Software.

Developed an IOT Based Temperature monitoring system using Arduino Uno Board, Nodemcu Wi-Fi module and GSM SIM900.

The system was developed for industrial and house-hold applications in order to help the user monitor and control the temperature of the surroundings. SKILL SET
