R&D Electrical Engineering Intern 05/2017 to 12/2017

Emerson – Houston, TX

Designed and prototyped the electronics of a PCB to automate the testing of gas chromatography PCBs that resulted in reduced PCB manufacturing costs and faster testing time.

Developed and validated LabVIEW code that was integrated into an existing application, creating a seamless integration between my PCB and the existing test procedure.

Validation Engineer Intern 05/2016 to 08/2016

Texas Instruments-Manchester, NH

Developed, tested, and validated algorithms in LabVIEW to characterize the transient behavior of a DC-DC Buck converter, which resulted in test reduction time from 20 minutes to 6 seconds.

Automated the hardware triggering, data acquisition, and analysis of the data in NI TestStand to obtain figures of merit from the load transient. This method became used widespread in TI for validation.

Electrical Engineering Intern 08/2015 to 05/2016

Weatherford International-Houston, TX

Developed VBA application to process PLC data log files and return formatted reports, resulting in a report generating application that sped up the analysis of flow-loop data.

Assisted principal engineers in flow-loop tests of the electrical controls in pumps before being delivered for rig use.
