Summary

I am an economics major as well as an NCAA Division 1 student athlete at the University of Maryland. I am highly motivated and determined person. I love reading, educating myself as well as learning new things about technological innovation and the way the world works. Being part of a team in college has broadened my communication and leadership skills.

-Achieved 9 A’s in GCSE’s and 35 points in the International Baccalaureate

-Pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a minor in Leadership & Communications

-Rochester Institute of Technology Challenge: I was one of 3 leaders. The goal was to produce a plan on a new innovative chocolate bar. We had to initiate, plan, execute and manage a team to meet our specific goals for this competition. We achieved the goals given the projects constraints

-Team Captain at University of Maryland for 4 years and Team Captain in high school for 2 years

Work Experience

-8 weeks summer internship with Aflac. Responsible for making 160 cold calls a day, canvassing 60+ businesses a day and making 50 recruiting calls a day. I gained 3 new accounts which was more than most of the full time employees.

-10 weeks at the Diagnostic Institute in Nairobi, Kenya. Responsible for analyzing data sets that included surveys. Worked as part of a team using analytical reasoning to finish assigned projects.

-4 weeks at The Emirates Golf Club alongside head Professional, Stephen Deane learning about accounts, admin, coaching theory and operations management. Responsibilities included scheduling lessons, learning how their payment systems work, working with his colleagues to make sure everything was on track and coaching kids groups on the game of golf. 50% more kids came back for more lessons after I had started coaching there.
