Operated and maintained the Amundsen – Scott South Pole Station on location in Antarctica.

Responsible for power generation, water supply, waste water, and digital control systems aboard this station. Project Manager for the Adopt-A-Ramp Program. Personally, developed this program with the North Carolina Wildlife Commission to allow private organizations to formally adopt boating access areas across the state.

Eleven boat ramps were adopted in 2010 and currently over 20% of all boating access areas are adopted by private groups.
