Plant Manager

Attn: Hiring Manager

Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing in response to your job posting on Talent Desk for the position of Plant Manager. I am confident that my skills and experience are a perfect match for this position. I am a proven leader and problem solver with the ability to reduce costs, improve morale, and consistently exceed business goals. After two years in my role in Business Development, I am looking for an opportunity to once again lead a team in manufacturing.

I have a diverse background, even with spending the majority of my career with one company. I have experience managing every aspect of manufacturing, from stamping and welding operations, to assembly, metal fabrication, tooling, and machining. As Director of Operations and Operations Manager, I was responsible for changing the culture at Anchor. I drove significant improvements in safety and quality throughout the plant while improving productivity and morale. Over the last two years, I have had the opportunity to work with customers in my role as Director of Advance Engineering and Business Development. In this role, I worked with our customers to improve processes and reduce costs, managed our steering column work, and developed new opportunities. Working with the Sales group also helped me develop a better understanding of estimating and the APQP process. Thank you for your time in reviewing my qualifications and I look forward to hearing from you. Best Regards,

Richard Gratzer
