SUMMARY
I began my career in electronics and computers as an apprentice working on televisions and VCR's in the mid 80's. I received an opportunity to work in the telecommunications field and received much training as a component level troubleshooter and two-way radio installer in the marine industry. Computers have always been of interest to me, so I pursued education at Southern Technical College and began working in the computer field. Computer businesses as well as clients, that I have supported, have benefited from the computer hardware, software, local area networking and cabling skills that I have acquired through schools and practical experience to make their businesses more efficient. I enrolled in the Cisco Network Academy CCNA course in 2003 and completed the complete course. I plan to stay up to date with Cisco, SonicWall, Watchguard, Dell and Juniper as these are major brands used in the IT industry.
