Sainsbury’s – Counter Assistant (October 2014-December 2014) Worked on the deli and hot food counter serving customers, replenishing stock, cleaning and cooking. Left due to an internship opportunity in India.

JAM Staffing – Bar staff and waiter (June 2015-August 2015) Worked behind the bar at various event including festivals, private parties, and work parties. Also worked as a waiter as various formal events. Left due to university starting.

Buzzworker – Bar worker (June 2016-August 2016) Worked behind the bar at various places including clubs, weddings and private parties. Left due to university starting.

Highgate Primary School – Administrative assistant (July 2017-August 2017) Worked for the business admin department creating new registers and organising paperwork. Also occasionally helped out with monitoring the children. Left due to university starting.

Summary of capabilities and interest

Accomplished performer academically. Able to work collectively in a team as well as operate on my own. Well-developed communication skills with all ages as well as a strong ability to express ideas and persuade readers to except opinions. Strong investigative skills enhanced through work experience. Also regard myself as a self-starter and highly self-motivated . Particularly interested in sports journalism and related industries, with a broad interest covering economics, finance, management, marketing and social media.

Achievements

Duke of Edinburgh: Bronze Award (2011); Cricket coaching for 5 to 11 year olds at Old Elizabethans Cricket Club (Jan to April 2011).

Music: Theory – Achieved Grade 5 (Pass) & Piano – Practical Grade 5 (Pass) achieved at the age of 11. Saxophone - Practical Grade (Pass) achieved, and preparing for Grade 7. Participated in a school music trip to Boston, USA to perform at various venues including Harvard University. Member of In-Spiral Saxes, playing at charitable and community events (out of school).

Rookie Sports Leadership Programme (2011 to 2013): This is a personal development programme which involves coaching young children in sports. It is a three year programme (during summer term) proving an ASDAN Key Skills qualification and work experience. I have successfully completed the three years achieving the Gold Award.

LAMDA: Public speaking course to Grade 5 (2009, Pass).

Leisure

Conceived, set-up and run a high quality website providing news, views and commentary on Arsenal football club. The site has 4,000 followers on Twitter and, on average, secure 500 - 5000 views per article (see www.gunnersopionion.com). Shut down due to university work.

5-a-side football once a week.
