As technology is concerned this involves using webservices to fetch user dynamic data and replacing design templates. This was planned for release in October but we managed to release it by June. Launched the new website in just three months using the latest version of the industry leading CMS software SDL Tridion DXA and Springs. Apart from programming parts of the website, I was responsible for the notification message center that provides consumers a place to be notified about their messages from brands, Service Hero or other consumers. This feature is similar to one on Facebook. Currently working on expanding this feature with badges and gamification which was released on June.

AlMulla Exchange wanted to go online to allow their customers to experience the latest technological advancements in global money transfer solutions. This was initially a team of two and then became a team of three due to the need to meet deadline and urgency. More than words, the application speaks for itself. Everything possible was covered in this project. Security most of all. I designed the initial User interface and basic skeleton of the project. As the team expanded, we together covered KNet integration, adding beneficiaries, Transaction Enquiries and other modules. This just covered Phase I. After its rolls out, we will take up phase II in the coming quarter.

By use of the Web Services technology, all transactions were uploaded and tracked by way of server to server communication, with the end objective of eliminating Manual Entry
By use of the Web Services technology, all transactions are to be uploaded and tracked by way of server to server communication, with the end objective of eliminating Manual Entry. This enabled the exchange of XML based remittance request and response messages digitally signed, encrypted and transmitted over a secure channel through the Internet.
A java application was provided without user interface, scheduled to run in specific intervals by a scheduler based within the application. Employ SSL certificates for server identification and authentication Sent structured, XML-based request messages from Client's Database to Server, Receive the messages to the appropriate HDFC Bank back-end systems. Deliver response to HDFC Bank back-end system and within in the same secure session, receive with XML based messages from the transmitting Server. Though I assisted with various banks like Federal, Transfast and Prime bank, I got the privilege to lead the most complex of all, HDFC bank. This was different from other banks in technology they deployed and so a little research was required. Project name: DMS - Document management System.

I was given the sole responsibility to lead this project. I designed and developed the entire project from requirement gathering, design to development and implementation. Provided an application to all departments to upload documents related to their business with end to end security set up.
Also integrated external scanning project so that exchange branches could directly scan civil ids and receipts at peak business hours. Currently looking at out sourced party to provide OCR support to existing scanning tool.
Project name: Online Office Automation Service Request Portal. Website:

For this I developed a simple ADF application that was setup on our SSL setup server. This was the first time, SSL was setup for any application in AlMulla IT and I had to do a little Research on how to set this up.
Once the java end was developed, I had to integrate the existing Oracle Forms so as to process the service requests entered from ADF application. Project name: Customer Call Center Application
Software: Oracle JDeveloper 10.1.2, Oracle10g, Jasper – iReports. Technologies: JSP, Struts, JasperReports, Jquery, JavaScript This is my current project. Currently working on phase I, where call center agents have to call up customers to get the feedback on the products the purchased. The project will cover the Auto Sales and Service departments. A team of two developers where I play the lead developer. I was also given the responsibility to train a new team member to bring him up to speed on our projects.
I refined feature requirements and developed user interface components using JSF and Oracle ADF; analyzed diverse data sets and designed aggregated data views in Oracle DB; developed PL/SQL stored procedures to perform complex data oriented business logic; and participated in unit testing, performance measuring, profiling and tuning.
I designed data structures; created ADF modules, entities, views, associations and view links to do object-reADF components.
This project also posed challenging as there were new requirements not covered in my earlier projects.
Project name: HR Web

Technologies: JSP, Struts, JasperReports, Jquery, JavaScript This was a service oriented project and an in-house development for the group's HR department. The clients requested for various modules to help enhance their human resources requirements. I was personally responsible for the new employment request module, Salary/Service Certificates in both Arabic and English, Salary Review module and more. These were new modules and I was involved in the entire lifecycle of these projects. Other than this, I also helped in maintenance of the existing modules like leave application, contract renewal process, AlMulla spring camp tent booking service, passport release and various report generations. This entire project is ongoing and new modules are taken up to enhance the online HR system.
Project name: Employee Time attendance
Though this project is linked to HR system, special mention needs to be made to this because of its complexity. Employees punch in and out daily using a third party HandPunch and FaceReader software. These have to then be processed daily and updated in the database. This involved numerous scheduled batch programs.
Project name: HRMS – Payroll
Software: Oracle Forms 10.1.2, Oracle10g.
This was a brief period of 6 or so months, where the Payroll and social security system is setup in Oracle Forms technology. Though already setup, I had to master Oracle Forms in this brief period and cover Forms and Reports in order to support maintenance. It was when I was comfortable with this that I was given an independent small scale application to develop on my own (ADMS) Project name: Agencies Information Management System. (ADMS) Software: Oracle Forms 10.1.2, Oracle10g.
Based on my performance in HRMS, I was handed the responsibility of a small scale application for management of agencies and contract information for our Administration department. Totally 25 + forms, 18 + reports and scheduled day end and month end report bursting.
Though I was new to the concept, I was able to accomplish the task within the promised period.
I also developed the first Forms to Java communication in this project in AlMulla when I had to integrate another independent module called the Document Management System with which Administration could scan all the secure contracts and agency agreements into this System. After this, was successful, I helped other businesses to reuse the same technology in their applications like the Retail Finance department and Office Automation department where they had to scan their invoices, bank statements relevant to the business. Though development for the ADMS project was done and closed, I still had to support it whenever user change requests came in. This is ongoing. I was involved in developing the Account Opening module for our client Citigroup Private Bank. This was the second phase of the project which was targeted for our clients in Europe and Asia. This phase is still in progress. My role in this is that I was a key developer for this module and developed many functionalities using Jsps, EJBs, struts, JDBC, WebLogic. I was also involved with XMLs.

I was selected along with another of my colleagues for the role of DP Activity Anchor. I was selected off a group of about 60 resources for this key role. My responsibility was to make aware the various defect types, their causes and their preventions. I had to look at each and every raised issues and defects in our project that were raised for the past 1 year or more and analyze the causes and come up with a more appropriate solution to prevent any future occurrences from the root itself. Thereby creating a more if not complete defect free application.
