Professional Summary

I have 30 plus years in the construction industry. Prior to construction, I worked several summers in the cotton fields near Lubbock. I began my construction experience working for Holman Concrete Construction. I worked for HCC after school, weekends and summers from the age of 15 for a total 3+ years and completed my high school education. I then enrolled in TSTI's Building Trades Course that I completed it in 2 years. During BTC school I worked as a carpenter and concrete finisher for General Contractors. Shortly after school, I partnered with my mentor, (an accomplished ex GC's Superintendent) John Oakley to manage a commercial building and structural concrete business . After a few years, I was approached and offered a Superintendent position for a design build architectural firm out of Lubbock. I accepted and built buildings for them in Colorado, Mexico, Wyoming, Missouri and Texas. I was employed as a Super for 24 years. After 24 good years I was offered a Project Management position and accepted. I worked as a Project Manager for just over one year, when I was offered an oilfield sales job. I put them off for several weeks, despite being unhappy with my PM job. However, the sales job offer became to attractive to turn down. I worked for that company for 1.5 years when I was offered a sweeter oilfield sales job, so I accepted that position.
