Role : Offshore Team Member

Role Description : Acted as a team member to handle all types of issues including DB Refreshes, Schema level Refreshes (EXP/EXPDP and IMP/IMPDP),Dataguard Gap Issues, Golden gate Issues, performance issues, restore and Recovery by using RMAN, User access request, backup failures etc.

Roles and Responsibilities:

AS a team member, need to attend the call with onsite team to resolve the critical issues, performing the storage analysis for refreshes and create the CRQ’s for weekly rebuilding the indexes, ASM Disk Additions and gathering stats as well as performing the CRQ’s as per the schedule.

Following the Change Management procedures and executing the changes as per the SLA.

Identifying the backup failures and rerun the backups as per the schedule.

Adding the new tables to existing GG environment..

Converting Physical Standby databases to Snapshot Standby databases for testing.

Taking incremental backups using SCN and applying on standbys when the huge gaps happened between Primary and Standby databases

Supporting on space related issues (housekeeping Activities) and regular ORA- errors.

Assisting Client/Application team in solving database issues.

Adding and relocating the datafiles based on space requirements.

Creating users and providing necessary Roles, Privileges and quota as per the requirement and Creating database links

Performing database refresh from source to target at different levels full db, schema and table level.
