Duties

Primarily supported the Global Marketing department’s website needs: site and file hosting, domain procurement, and site edits across an array of ~15 various websites, including the company’s flagship domain, prologis.com

Provided similar support to other departments: Americas, Europe, and Asia Marketing; Investor Relations; Private Capital; Legal; and the Office of the CEO interfacing with IT where necessary.

Interfaced with technical vendors to ensure new technologies fit into Marketing’s digital ecosystem. Projects

Led development of property.prologis.com, Prologis’ property search site, including: requirements gathering from multiple stakeholders, incorporating design feedback, managing a team of four back-end developers, and personally writing 95% of the HTML and CSS code.

Drove adoption of a Google/Yahoo/Facebook location syndicator to monitor and correct Prologis’ office location listings and remove erroneous entries in each of ~70 major metro areas.

Provided varying facets of support during design and development of the new prologis.com website, launched March 2017. Support included: requirements gathering, vendor selection, contract review, design review, UX feedback, vendor management, code review, content entry, and UAT. April 2012–May 2013

An international venture capital firm, with a presence in four global markets and a 40-year track record of success.

Built HAML and SASS pages for a major site redesign and overhaul involving various types of pages and numerous design revisions.

Interfaced with an on-site outside contractor to brainstorm best practices for new site elements, both in a free- design environment and in other areas requiring specific architectural configuration to comply with existing legacy code, as dictated by numerous teams within the company and among other third-party vendors' APIs.

Expanded my JavaScript capabilities by driving development of various client-side presentational site enhancements, from news tickers to customized bootstrap pop-ups to entire sliding page frames, all with a focus on smoothness of function and low client overhead. September 2010–March 2012

Software Engineer

A market-share leader in medical app development, serving point-of-care data to a network of 340,000 physicians.

Provided fresh CSS style sheets, and performed bugfixing and maintenance on exiting sheets, for a top-of-the- line web app focused on providing patients’ medical information to small clinic health care providers.

Maintained graphical consistency across the app through major brand-driven styling changes, and among multiple 3rd party plug-ins, each of which natively used unique and disparate styling.

Applied jQuery and JavaScript code to various modules of the app to create: pop-up dialogs, accordion content sections, tabbed sidebars, modular form elements, and various smaller dynamic structures.

Worked with full-time employees as well as contractors, both in-office and offshore, to ensure consistency and comprehension regarding workflow challenges presented in design spec documents. Led multiple pairing efforts to reduce lag between Product Manager spec delivery and fully styled html mock-up hand-off.

Assisted other development teams with html and styling for separate, related projects such as a secure and confidential patient medical information interface, and an android-specific mobile ecommerce mini-site. June 2007–September 2010

A dynamic high-volume email marketing provider, serving the mailing needs of Fortune 500 clients around the globe.

Researched and solved code display and behavior inconsistencies across fourteen email platforms and six browsers, involving troubleshooting HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Edited and corrected, and/or used Photoshop to create, HTML templates for distribution to millions of viewers.

Interfaced with clients to communicate hurdles and strategy unique to specific campaign constraints.

Led teams of as many as four associates in developing improvements to campaign process and to training procedures.

Was assigned to Acxiom’s most sensitive and crucial client immediately upon joining. Was first in my hire group to: receive a promotion to level 2; receive an off-cycle pay raise; and qualify for the “Specialist of the Month” honor. Recipient of “365 Days of Success” award in recognition of zero launch errors for more than one year.
