EXPERIENCE
ROBOTWORX
September 2015 – present
RobotWorx specializes in selling and integrating robotic systems to companies across the country. Most of the robots, welding cells, welding positioners that are sold are used systems. RobotWorx buys used robots and equipment and refurbishes as if it was brand new, then integrates it per customer’s needs. I was hired to take the reconditioning department which was underperforming, not meeting the quota that was needed. For two weeks, I studied the processes that were in place and presented my ideas that would increase production. A month after these new procedures were in place we tripled our production in the reconditioning department. Recently I was given the task to start a Health and Safety Program along with my supervisory duties. This included putting safety programs in place, heading up the safety committee, writing SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures), conducting weekly safety meetings, applying for safety grants, overseeing and conducting training programs. After 4 months, the Health and safety program has become OSHA compliant.
