Project # 3
Project Follow Up services
Client Underwriters Laboratories
Period December 2013 to March 2014
Role Senior Developer
Description:
Follow up Service is a service provided by UL for customers whose products have been initially evaluated and certified by UL. The purpose of the UL FUS inspection program is to verify that the manufacturing facility is complying with UL's safety standards and are maintaining the quality as that of the certified product. The FUS Sample Tracking System is a corporate-wide system used by UL staff to log in FUS samples at each testing office and input data through each stage of the testing, from assigning the samples to recording the test results. The UL testing offices, on receiving these samples enter the sample tag and test information on FUS Sample Tracking System.
Responsibilities:
Involved in development/enhancement of applications using JCL, COBOL, PRO* COBOL, DB2, UNIX.
Created online screens using CICS.
Saved substantial time and cost by providing a new interface routine that accepted all the various names, inputs and outputs of many different date processors then called the one new processor to handle all the work.

Project # 4
Project OLB Enrolment via mobile
Client Bank of America
Period January 2013 to November 2013
Role Developer
Description:
The bank introduces a new facility for the customers to enroll for online banking via mobile. OLB enrolment via mobile project sends alert regarding their enrolment status to the customer to their mailing address. This is an automatic batch alert. The enrolment data get stored in appropriate tables.
This project checks data according to the format and requirement of client. If data is appropriate, the necessary data are arranged according to the content deck of mail and mail will be send to the customer mailing address which he preferred. If data is improper, the necessary actions are taken according to the requirement of client and the status of the alert will get stored in proper table.
Responsibilities:
Developed parms, procs and Job based on the requirements using JCL, COBOL, Easytrieve.
Implemented extensive code refactoring to attain expected response time for the application.
Mailing format data is aligned in a flat file by sequence numbers.
Deck of mail is created in DB2 tables.
Coordinated with SIT& UAT team.
Project monitoring and control during development and defects fixing.

Role Developer
Description:
SABER project creates an environment as production environment. In this environment, the testing will be done as such in production. This project helps to detect the problems which may encountered in production environment by testing the same data in the environment created by Saber. The data is extracted from high stream and the data is validated, processed and manipulated to derive different fields and loaded to the appropriate tables. This process is carried out in SIT, UAT and also in Saber production environment. The data is verified and the process carried out in production environment. The future projects changes can also be checked here before starting the project phases which will be time consuming.

Role System Engineer
Description:
HE Subservicing creates a testing environment as like SIT and UAT .If the High environment is carried out with testing of an application, the other application can be tested in the environment created by HE Subservicing. The data is accomplished by either receiving a feed from or extracting data from various source systems and manual systems of record (SORs).
These feeds originate from a variety of credit systems running on a number of different platforms. This data will be tested and loaded into the data mart for analysis and reporting. This project creates a testing environment for this data same as High environment.
Responsibilities:
System and Requirement analysis of the application is developed.
Discussions with System Architects to prepare the System Design Document and get it approved.
Used SQL to retrieve Credit card details stored in DB2 tables.
The environment is created in same way as SIT and UAT and versioning of files and tables are in sync with the original environment using REXX Designed tool .
Prepared test scripts and gave knowledge transfer to testing team in order to facilitate System Integration, Performance and Regression testing in testing environment.
