As physician liaison, I work closely with a surgeon and a gastrointestinal doctor, assisting them with patient care.
I earned my nursing degree in June 2003 and have been practicing as a nurse since this time. My past practice experience includes medical/surgical, telemetry, orthopedics, intensive care, and a charge nurse role. Before working as a nurse, I worked as a certified nursing assistant for six years in a long term care psychiatric facility.
