Nurse Practitioner

Prescribe dosages and instruct patients in correct usage of medications. Ordered and Interpreted laboratory tests. Facilitate patients’ transition between health care settings and home care.

Order diagnostic tests such as x-ray, electrocardiogram and interpret test results for deviation from normal. Perform and order wound care when warranted. Administered injections.

Instruct and counsel patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens. Communicate with patients regarding testing results, follow-up care, and additional information.
