Provided routing and switching designs to facilitate BDSC’s base network expansion as the base grew; I Setup HAPI tunnels using TACLANES to encrypt SIPR data via a tunnels though the NIPR enclave for remote bases connected with microwave links. Worked with the military to determine their needs and laid out the plans to fill those needs; Provided training for other network Admins. Duties also Include functions from Afghanistan below.

Provided network support to US ARMY's networks; Worked with Enterprise CISCO Call Manager, CISCO IP Phones, Enterprise Active Directory with DHCP management; Enterprise Solarwinds, Remedy, CISCO 6509, NEXUS, 3750, 2800, 3800, 3900; general network support and trouble shooting. I helped manage 2 6509 using VSS and redundant fiber from each distribution switch back to the 6509s. I maintained the various CISCO stacks in the multiple closets as well as in the data centers. I also worked with the security team to track down DOD SIPR & NATO CENTRIX violations on the base. I used SolarWinds to track both LAN & WAN outages and for the local base as well as other area bases.
