PROFILE

l have applied to train as a nurse, mainly because of the experience l got while working with the disabled people, care of the elderly, giving care to hospitalised patients. l also got experience from looking after my grandmother who lived for three years after being hit by a stroke which left her paralysed one side of her body. These experiences helped me develop a great sense of providing nursing care. l therefore felt that a career in nursing was the answer, the three year nurse training course has provided me with all the knowledge and skills l needed to become a qualified nurse. l have also gained a lot of experience and confidence through being allocated in different clinical practice placements.

l am a caring and loving person who cares for others. l am a Christian and l do some voluntary work in church. l am a hard working, honesty person and very good/effective in team working. l can use my own initiative to do the nursing job. l am reliable and flexible person who acknowledges new challenges on a day to day basis. l am keen to learn new skills, and undertake any further nursing professional to enhance my career prospects.
