Architected and implemented backup solution using Commvault, which included the reduction of data footprint by use of data de-duplication NAS storage devices from Quantum (DXi); cost savings of over $250,000.00 compared to many solutions.

Implemented VADP backup solution using vRanger, significant cost savings over CommVaults per Terabyte pricing model.

Implemented Microsoft system center DPM; removed cost of backup agents used for Exchange, SharePoint and SQL.

Developed DR center for quick establishment of new data center in case of catastrophic event at primary location, which included configuration of Cisco switches, addition of Dell blade chassis, and EMC SAN storage device.

Handled asset management system, including purchase, install, management and disposal at end of life.

Reduced costs in data center with use of VMWare through 5.1.; use of blade chassis to handle the many servers that were once on hardware; reduction of hardware in the data center saved electricity, heating, and air conditioning costs.

Maintained SAN and NAS storage devices including all upgrades.

Completed upgrade of NAS storage devices to 10Gb network connectivity, increasing the speed and extending life of the storage.
