Facilities Maintenance Manager/Manager Information Systems/Safety Manager

Manage 6 different facilities, coordinated installing a new multimillion dollar processing line. Upgraded the locations with LED lighting to save electrical cost and to qualify for incentives from the power company. As Safety Manager I worked with my safety committee and our workman’s comp rep to put training in place to reduce accidents and promote plant safety. Also maintained the company’s network including upgrading the different sites to fiber connections and linked them together as one network via metro network connections. Ensured GMP and Food Safety practices where maintained at the facilities, along with ensuring we passed AIB an ISO audits. Setup 5S systems at the different facilities to organize the maintenance teams and there on hand spare parts.

Manage 2 different departments with 3 supervisors working under me along with 25 – 40 employees depending on the season. Maintained a budget for both departments, and a parts inventory. I created a Preventive Maintenance program and a Lock out Tag out program that is used by all sites. I am a member of the safety committee and complete safety audits. I have introduced automation equipment to reduce labor cost and designed equipment to improve productivity.
