MAJOR PROJECT DESCRIPTION

“Multiple scattering effects of gamma rays in some titanium compounds” under M.Sc. project work at SLIET, Longowal. As the titanium is a very hard and strong element, an attempt was made to check its possibility in radiation shielding and protection. Buildup factors for the selected compounds of titanium were calculated using G.P. fitting method.
