With 9 years of experience in ETL&BI Development using InfoSphere DataStage and Cognos. Across this time, I have participated on the different phases of the systems development life cycle.
I have the ability to make a complete ETL system, from analysis to development and the implementation in a productive environment.

● ETL Infosphere DataStage& BI Cognos: Technical Leader & Developer on DWH migration project. Project planning. Make project estimations of each development phases and lead the team assigned to each phase. Ensure to finish each phase on the proposal date given. Join the project status meetings. Make analysis, design and development of ETL applications, including shell and SQL scripts. We are migrating Datastage server and parallel jobs from version 7.5 to 8.7. Migration of Cognos Reports and Cubes from version 8 to 10. Currently the client has a DWH based on Oracle and Informix DBMS so then we are making the necessary adjustments to SQL Scripts from Oracle and Informix to zDB2. We are applying the necessary test cases to ensure that the data it’s the same than the client has currently on their DWH. We are analyzing the applications and then making improvements to give better performance and more value to the business. Designing database ODS for the different business areas in DB2 DBMS. At the beginning, we work with the client to define the migration process and set all the documents to deliver on each migration, we work together to create the methodology for all steps to put each application on a production environment.
