Project Description:

The FATCA legislation (Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act), enacted in 2010 with the U.S. Hiring Incentives to Restore Employment (HIRE) Act, aims to identify people who hold U.S. accounts or investments in Foreign Financial Institutions (FFI). The law requires the FFI to enter into an agreement with the IRS (Internal Revenue Services) to provide information regarding these U.S. individuals, worth a deduction of 30% on incomes originated from U.S. sources. The legislation and the disposition of it will have effect from 01/07/2014. Responsibilities:

• Developing SLAs (Service level Agreements) in Workflow in PRPC.

• Administration activities like creation of Access Groups, applications, operator IDs, rule set versioning.

• Involved in critical Bug Fixing Activities with Lead and System Architects for Harness, Declare Expressions, and Agents.

Zurich client is implementing the General Liability Claims Administration System. Claims Work Flow Management (WFM) is a complete lifecycle that claims solution which increases the efficiency and speed of handling claims. It guides claims handlers through the complex process of dealing with the progress of a transaction through the entire claims process. Work Flow Management (WFM) system is being built on a standard PEGA platform and the architecture is based on Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and integrates with the modernized ‘Claim Services’. WFM system brings together the various systems that participate in the claims processing providing much needed workflow management including aspects such as work allocation, task notification, task monitoring etc., using a common UI. WFM streamlines claims workflow for insurers and the business partners, speed claims processing, and reduces cycle times by centralizing access to multiple claims-processing applications improving overall customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Involved in the task break down for user stories and providing estimations for segregated tasks.
